Rejuran®
Rejuran is a skin-healing treatment using polynucleotides (PN) from salmon DNA to rejuvenate and repair the skin. Salmon DNA accelerates the healing processes of skin cells, boosting collagen production, improving the skin barrier, and enhancing wound healing — and because it is similar to human DNA, there is little risk of an immune response. What To Expect
- Tiny welts from the injections are visible for 24–48 hours; minor bruising settles in the same period.
- Improvements appear after about 4 weeks and build over the second and third sessions (4-week intervals).
- Maintenance is advised every 3–4 months after the initial three sessions.
The Treatment Process
- Cleansing, then numbing cream for about 30 minutes.
- Rejuran is injected via a very fine needle (about 20 minutes).
- Cooling with aloe vera gel or a mask for 10 minutes to reduce downtime.
- Aftercare: moisturiser and sunscreen applied.
How it works
Rejuran is administered as non-invasive micro-injections into the superficial dermis, where it stimulates fibroblasts — the cells that generate collagen. More fibroblasts mean more collagen and newly generated cells replacing old, damaged ones: skin becomes smoother, firmer and more elastic, pigmentation and fine lines reduce, and pores are minimised. As a healing agent, Rejuran can even improve eczema, acne-induced inflammation, and old deep-set acne scars.
